I actually had no idea that this would be my 100th post. So when I decided to write something today I had something TOTALLY different in mind for a subject. And now, I'll be writing about that tomorrow.
For today... I am going to be giving something away. I have been thinking long and hard (okay, so it was actually only about 10 minutes of "hard" thinking....) about what I could do to celebrate my 100th post. What could I do that would help commemorate my special post, and I decided I'd give something away. And that something is.....
Knitting Needles!
I believe I showed you all a couple of knitting needles that I had been playing around with using beads to "pretty" them up. Well, I decided that I was going to make a few more in needle sizes #4, #6, #8, #10 and #12. These will be 11 inches of straight, bamboo needles. I will choose 5 winners, one for each size. So, this is what you'll need to do. I"m going to keep this SUPER simple because I'm not very computer savvy! Write a comment for this post and include what size you'd be interested in winning! Actually, I should probably add, you may want to include a second size as well. I don't have many followers so those of you who do comment may end up getting more than one! YAY! ;-)
So there you go. My 100th post! Celebrate with me and join in on the fun! And by the way, I will close this on midnight Thursday and I'll post the winners on Friday! Thanks so much for visiting me and I hope that somehow I've helped you at one time or another. Or at the very least, put a smile on your face! ;-) Thanks for stopping by!

Well, sounds like you've gotten back into the swing of things after the grandbaby trip.
Hope all well.

Congrats on your 100th post!!!
Your knitting needles are sooo cute! I would love to try and win size #8, because I think I use that the most. Second I guess would be #12.
100! Very cool!
I gave my size 6 away. I am still harboring the possibility that one day maybe with a lot of help, a lot of hard work and a lot of fussing, that I might be able to knit. So I am throwing my hat in for the really cute knitting needles.
I'm so happy that I found you on line too...One hundred wonderful posts! I never even thought of counting them, and I still find it amazing that anyone would read my blatherings. Your knitting needles are so darling, but don't put me in for them.. I use circular only and have scads of straight needles that I am still giving away (an artist and her tools... sigh) Split them up amongst your other admirers and know that I think that they are beautiful!
Congrats on your 100th post and on your grandchild! How exciting.
I've wanted to learn to knit and now might be my chance.....Since I'm new and have no clue you pick for me, should I win.
Again, Congrats!! Exciting times!
